Privacy Policy

The short version
We do not have accounts. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information. We do not sell data. The only things that touch your data are a hashed IP address used for rate limiting, the job title you scan, and Google Analytics for basic usage statistics.
What we collect
Hashed IP address. When you run a scan, we hash your IP address using a one-way function and store it temporarily in memory to enforce a rate limit of 5 scans per hour. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your original IP. It is never written to a database and is lost when the server restarts.
Aggregated search statistics. We store aggregated metadata about searches (such as which job titles are scanned and score distributions) for the purpose of improving the service. This data contains no personal information and cannot be traced back to any individual user.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand basic usage patterns such as pages visited, session duration, and approximate geographic region. Google anonymizes IP addresses before processing. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Data retention
AI Survival Clock does not independently persist personal data. Scan results and hashed IPs are held in application memory only and are lost on server restart. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default per Google's policy.
Shared links
If you share a result link, that link is public. Anyone with it can view your scan including the job title, score, and analysis. We do not attach any identity to these links, but the job title itself may be identifying in certain contexts. Share at your own discretion.
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since we do not store personal data ourselves, any data rights requests should be directed to the third-party services listed above via their respective privacy dashboards.
